Help with clogged ear….?
Ok, my husband woke up 2 days ago and his right ear was clogged. He can’t hear out of it very well and says that it feels like he has water in it. He feels no pain, has no ringing, but it is very annoying and he doesnt know what to do. Last night, we tried pouring a peroxide solution into it and it bubbled like crazy. We didnt leave it in for very long, but I told him that he may have a wax build-up. I heard that it is not good to use Q-tips at this point because it may only push it further in. We do not have any medical coverage and cant afford to go to a doctor to find out what is wrong. Are there any home remedies that can help with this, or maybe an affordable over-the-counter treatment that we could try? This is kinda new to me and I dont want to make it worse. Any advice will be helpful. Thank you very much.
I think you are right that he has wax build up in his ear,I have had this several times and I have always gone to a Dr.and had them flush out my ears to relieve the wax.I never had much luck with the peroxide,it only seemed to make my ear worse,they do make kits for ear flushing at the drug store that you can try.Most Dr.offices will except payments and I don’t think that it would really cost that much to have this done,you can go the route of the drug store or look up a clinic in your yellow pages,I hope this is of some help to you,I know exactly how your husband is feeling.
